![]() ![]() Yoshitsune is a great physical-focused addition to any team and can hold his own through late game, though may not be able to carry his weight against end game bosses. Speaking of debuffs, his Pierce Armor is a physical attack that will reduce the enemy's defense. Hassou Tobi, a unique attack to Yoshitsune, will hit the enemy with 8 attacks that always are critical hits which is really nice and can deal a lot of damage when you're buffed and the enemies are debuffed. Strictly a melee fighter, Yoshitsune comes complete with some really handy physical attacks. Quetzalcoatl having proficiencies with both Fire and Force skills makes it a dual-threat in your party. In addition, it is one of the earlier demons to have a Hama (a light skill) and Agi (basic fire skill).įortuna - Fortuna is another demon that has great utility due to it having Force, Support, Light, and Buff enhancements after fusing. The angel is a good healing option to fuse because of their Humble Blessing skill plus its other support skills. I didn't keep Mermaid around for long, but her contributions to the early bosses like Hydra proved invaluable. This Ice attack will hit foes with 3-6 attacks at random which can do a lot of damage to single targets early on, especially if they are weak to Ice. ![]() While she won't be useful for long, I found Mermaid to be a powerhouse in the early game thanks to her unique ability, Stormcaller's Song. To help you on your way, here are some recommendations of some demons that I found to be helpful at various points during my playthrough that you should check out! Whatever that outcome, these accidents have a higher chance of happening when the moon is full so plan accordingly when you fuse!īy far, the easiest and most expensive method of gaining demons is through the Compendium. These accidents can give you a stronger demon than you are currently allowed, a weaker one than you were expecting, or a demon with some unique abilities. These accidents can be annoying and costly, especially if you were fusing some of your main demons to get a heavy-hitter, but the results can also be surprisingly beneficial. On the rare occasion, something will go wrong during a demon fusion which will result in a completely different outcome. It is important to be aware though, you will only be able to fuse demons that are equal to or below your level! In subsequent playthroughs, you can unlock a special Miracle that will remove this limiter, however. These fusions require three-or-more demons to summon. Special Fusions tend to be special demons you have faced as bosses or other powerful ones you discover as rewards. You can select the resulting demon either from just in your party (Reverse Fusion) or from any demon you have ever had (Reverse Compendium Fusion). The Reverse and Reverse Compendium options show you the end result instead of choosing the sacrificed demons to see the resulting demon, like in Dyad Fusions. The Dyad Fusion option allows you to select two of your demons in your party and fuse them. In the World of Shadows, you have two main types of fusion, 'Dyad' fusions and Special Fusions. The biggest benefit of fusing demons is the ability to customize the skills a given has access to, letting you tailor a demon to fit a specific role. Through fusions, you will have access to demons you can't find in the field, bosses, and more. ![]() Negotiating helps to fill your ranks, but most of your heavy hitters will come through the process of fusing demons together. ![]()
